Buses

Chapel Hill and Carrboro have a free bus schedule so you may want to take that into consideration when looking for a house. Close proximity to a bus stop that takes you quickly down town is important. I have a friend who lives about 3 miles from Carrboro but has to take two buses to get there. Nobody wants to have to spend all that time getting somewhere, so being on a bus route is not the only thing, make sure you are on a good bus route.
