The
Artists
Carroboro
is full of artists trying to make a living. And trying to make a living
is probably the biggest complaint of most of them. This is not a large
art-supporting community, people like to look as evidence by the Second
Friday Art Walk, but not much is sold. I've put original art on
most of my walls and now I'm almost out of space adn there are still
hundreds of other artists to support. If the town grows(as it is)
maybe there will be enough people to support our artists(but then
again if the town gets much bigger, it will be different from the
town that people moved to in the first place), but right now, it's
hard.
